Last night Mark and I made like Paparazzi and attended the Burning of the Clocks festival in Brighton. Armed with our Nikons we barged ourselves to the front of the crowds lining the streets: "Make way.. Important people with big cameras coming through" We didnt manage to get many great shots as there were huge armies of people and so all the shots had someones elbow or head in the foreground but we had a great fun time. Mark took his position of Important Photographer very seriously and as the last of the procession went past us he gestured to me and ran off around the corner to a different road, that he hoped, if we ran fast enough, would mean we would head them off and get to the front of the procession again. So twice we raced around the streets in the brighton lanes, sprinting with our cameras, pushing to the front of the crowds, nudging little children out of the way, in persuit of that perfect shot. I cant say that either of us managed to produce the perfect photo, but we both had fun and im sure all that sprinting did us the world of good! I know today is friday and a lot of you will be jetting off to start your xmas this weekend, have a good one.. Looking forward to hearing about all your presents when blogging begins again.
